Dress Code

The dress code provides a standard for our students, which fosters an environment conducive to learning and respectful behavior. Final decisions regarding the school’s uniform rests with the HOPE Academy Advisory Board.

STANDARD REQUIRED UNIFORM FOR ALL STUDENTS

 All uniforms must be clean and in good repair. Hairstyles are to be appropriate for academic purposes. No make-up may be worn. Earrings for girls must be small and only one pair of earrings may be worn on the ears at anytime. Boys may not wear earrings. Body piercing is not acceptable as a part of the dress code.

 GIRLS

 
• Flynn & O’Hara plaid jumper
• Flynn & O’Hara hunter green sweater with school monogram
• Flynn & O’Hara yellow Peter Pan collar blouse (short or long sleeves)
• Plain white bobby socks (turned down) or white tights
• Black or navy tie-up shoes

 BOYS

• Flynn & O’Hara hunter green trousers
• Flynn & O’Hara yellow dress shirt (short or long sleeve (September thru March))
• Flynn & O’Hara hunter green tie
• Flynn & O’Hara hunter green sweater with school monogram
• Flynn & O’Hara yellow polo shirt with school monogram (April to June only) Black tie-up shoes

PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIFORM for GIRLS & BOYS

APRIL to OCTOBER

Tennis shoes, HOPE Academy T-shirt (must be purchased from the school), and hunter green or khaki knee length shorts. Tennis shoes and shorts may be purchased from the store of your choice.
